Follow these helpful steps:
- Choose your collision shop
You get to choose who repairs your vehicle.
Your insurance company can (and likely will) provide recommendations but ultimately, the choice is yours. Follow up, read reviews, contact friends, and ask the mechanics you already trust.
- Drop in or make an appointment for an estimate
Call us (801)-484-9400. Schneider Auto is open for business 8:30-5:30, M-F and has an estimator at the ready to greet you. You can also contact us online by sending your vehicle info, damage, and photos for a free estimate at: https://www.schneiderauto.net/estimates/
There is no law that requires you to get more than one estimate.
In the past, many insurers have required that you receive more than one estimate.
- Getting an estimate
One of our estimators will discuss the damage with you, take photos, assess damage, and hand you a preliminary estimate. Also included is a timeline for the repairs, and we can discuss convenient dates for you to drop off your vehicle. We also provide shuttle service to help get you to and from our shop whenever possible.
- Making a claim
If you haven’t already, initiate a claim. Once initiated, we can take over and make it as easy as possible for you and your family. Please call us if any pieces of the claims process seem confusing. As you know, we are here to help.
- Bringing your vehicle in
Vehicle repair and making customers happy is our business. On your scheduled drop-off day, feel confident about leaving your car in the hands of one of our representatives. We also provide shuttle service to help you get to and from our shop (within reason!).
